Thanks to all for a great year and hope for a better one this year

January 5, 2010 - Shortly before 11pm the tones dropped for #9 E. Lynbrook Circle in Collingdale bringing Collingdale and Darby Firefighters on the box.  Units arrived with heavy smoke showing and fire in the basement.  Several handlines were stretched to bring the blaze under control.  2 firefighters were "kissed" by he red devil and are expected to return to service soon.  Thank you to Brian Feeney for capturing our 1st job of 2010 on film.  Check out the pictures at: http://public.fotki.com/Firefoto3/fires__other_incidents/delco/7th__8th_district_delco/9-east-lynbrook-col/

We finished up the year with 458 runs!  Darby Fire Company #1 would like to thank all those who assist us through the year.  Without the support of our mutual aide companies, R.I.T. Company, EMS, Fire Police, Darby Police, and other support services our job would be difficult if not impossible.  From the membership to you: "THANKS".
