RUNS AND WORKERS 2009

We finished up the year with 458 runs!  Darby Fire Company #1 would like to thank all those who assist us through the year.  Without the support of our mutual aide companies, R.I.T. Company, EMS, Fire Police, Darby Police, and other support services our job would be difficult if not impossible.  From the membership to you: "THANKS".

In 2009 we responded to numerous types of incidents.  Darby Fire Company #1 recorded 19 working fires for the year.  Here's a list of the "work" we do:

(1)  1/1/09: unit blk. of Ardmore Ave, Lansdowne.  Assist Co. 19 on the 2nd Alarm House Fire.  3h 10m service.

(2)  1/20/09: 100 blk. Chestnut St, Colwyn.  Working House Fire.  3h 4m service.

(3)  1/23/09:  1300 blk. Park Lane, Darby.  Working House Fire.  1h 20m service.

(4)  1/27/09:  700 blk. Bullock Ave, Yeadon.  Assist Co. 16 on the house fire.  55m service.

(5)  2/24/09:  100 blk. Whitely Terr, Darby.  3-Alarm House Fire with extension.  4h 59m service.

(6)  3/6/09:  1200 blk. Woodland Ave, Sharon Hill.  Assist Co. 09 on the house fire.  1h 21m service.

(7)  3/13/09:  500 blk. S. 4th St, Colwyn.  Working House Fire.  2h service.

(8)  4/24/09:  100 E. Providence Rd, Yeadon.  Assist Co. 16 on the garage(s) on fire.  1h 9m service.

(9)  5/1/09:  300 blk. Darby Terr, Darby.  3-Alarm House Fire with extension.  4h 5m service.

(10)  5/11/09:  400 blk. S. Lansdowne Ave, Yeadon.  Assist Co. 16 on the house fire.  4h 58m service.
